Join us for our Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service in Gold Canyon
Join us on December 24, 2023 (Christmas Eve) at 6:00pm for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
What Will Happen During The Candlelight Service?
As you walk in there will be unlit candles to take with you to your seat. The sanctuary will be slightly dimmer than normal and there will be candles spread throughout the room. We will sing traditional Christmas songs. Pastor Tim will give a brief talk as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Towards the end of the service you will be given the opportunity to light your candle if you choose and we will finish by singing another song.
How Long Will The Candlelight Service Be?
We understand Christmas is a busy time and we want you to spend time with your family! Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is designed so that your family can join you in our celebration and still have plenty of time for dinner or whatever you have planned! We start at 6:00pm and will be done around 7:00pm.
How Should I Dress?
The short answer: HOWEVER YOU WANT! We don’t care what you look like! We just want the opportunity to worship the birth of our Savior with you!
The longer answer: You are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. You can wear shorts and a t-shirt, jeans, and a polo, or a suit or formal dress. Many people do take the opportunity to dress a little fancier than they normally would but that is definitely not a requirement. As we said earlier, we don’t care what you wear (We love ugly sweaters too!) we just want you and your family to come and enjoy celebrating with us!
What About My Kids?
We love kids! This is the perfect service to have them join us. The service is mainly centered around praising God through song and Tim’s message will be brief and lively. Worship together as a family. And if they are old enough, let them hold a candle too! Don’t worry, we have heavy-duty candle wax protectors for our candles!

If you can’t make it in-person, that is okay too! We will live-stream the whole service on our church Facebook page.
