You Found Us — and Yes, the Drive Is Worth It

If you have been searching for a church near Queen Creek, AZ, you already know there are plenty of options close to home. But if you are open to a short drive, something a little different might be waiting for you just up the road in Gold Canyon.
Superstition Foothills Baptist Church sits at the base of the Superstition Mountains, about 20 to 25 minutes from Queen Creek via AZ-24 or US-60. It is a drive through some genuinely beautiful desert country, and a lot of our families make that trip every single Sunday. They keep coming back not because there is nothing closer, but because they found something here they were not willing to trade away.
We would love for you to come see what that is.
What Sunday Morning Looks Like
We meet multiple times throughout the week. On Sunday mornings, Worship begins at 9:00 AM and runs about an hour. We also gather midweek for Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM, Evening Prayer on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM, and Thursday Evening Bible Study at 6:00 PM. It is a blended service, meaning you will hear both timeless hymns and contemporary worship music, all centered on singing truth together. At 10:30 AM, we move into Bible Study, where smaller groups dig into Scripture at a level that encourages real questions and honest conversation.
The atmosphere is relaxed. You will not feel out of place if you show up in jeans. You will not be pulled to the front, asked to stand up and introduce yourself, or put on the spot in any way. We want your first Sunday to feel like a breath of fresh air, not an audition.
Our pastor, Timothy Jennings, teaches expositionally, meaning he works through books of the Bible verse by verse. The goal is always to let Scripture say what it actually says, and to help people walk out with something real to carry into the week.
Kids and Families Are a Big Deal Here
We know that for a lot of families, the kids ministry makes or breaks a church. Here is what we can tell you about ours.
Children from infants through sixth grade have their own programming running during the worship service, so you can actually be present in the room and engaged in worship while your kids are well cared for. We use the AWANA curriculum, which is Scripture-focused, structured, and genuinely fun for kids. And it is completely free.
Our kids workers are background-checked and trained. Drop-off is simple. Pickup is smooth. And your kids will probably ask to come back next week.

The Kind of Church We Are
We are a Baptist church, which means we hold Scripture as our authority and practice believer’s baptism. But we are not a stiff or formal congregation. People come as they are. They stay because they feel known.
There is no pressure here. We are not going to hand you a card and follow up three times before the week is out. We believe that if God is at work in your life and you experience genuine community here, you will want to come back on your own terms. Our job is just to make sure the door is wide open when you do.
We are a church that takes the Bible seriously, loves the city around us, and genuinely enjoys being together. If that sounds like what you have been looking for, we think you will feel it pretty quickly on a Sunday morning.
