Romans
A verse-by-verse journey through Paul’s letter to the Romans — unpacking the Gospel, God’s righteousness, and what it means to live by faith.
Why Romans?
Few books of the Bible have shaped Christian theology, personal faith, and church history quite like the Book of Romans. Written by the Apostle Paul to believers in Rome, this letter is a bold, Spirit-inspired masterpiece that explains the Gospel clearly, defends the righteousness of God, and calls believers to a life of obedient faith.
Romans isn’t just another epistle — it’s foundational. In its 16 chapters, Paul outlines the depth of human sin, the beauty of salvation through Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
Martin Luther called it “the chief part of the New Testament.” John Wesley credited his reading of Romans with his conversion. And we believe it can awaken your heart and deepen your walk with Christ too.

A Letter Born from Real Mission
Romans was written by Paul during his third missionary journey, likely while he was in Corinth (circa AD 57). He wrote to a church he hadn’t yet visited, with the desire to encourage them, correct misunderstandings, and prepare for a future trip to Spain (Romans 15:24).
Paul’s passion for the Gospel, even while facing trial and imprisonment, bleeds through every page of this letter. After arriving in Rome, he spent two years under house arrest preaching freely (Acts 28:30–31), before being released and continuing his missionary work. He eventually gave his life as a martyr, but not before leaving behind a legacy of faith and doctrine — with Romans as a cornerstone.
